By Richard Simon in Nottingham, UK.
1912
Rotary Dryer
Patent granted for the world’s first rotary dryer.
1930
Drum Dryer
First licenses issued for drum dryer manufacturing.
1970
Tubular Dryer
First tubular dryer installed for the pharmaceutical industry.

Inc.
Incorporated as R. Simon Dryers Ltd. with a wide knowledge of all industrial drying methods
2003
Tummers Group
Acquired by the Tummers Group, strengthening expertise in starch and food processing.

Owner and director of Tummers group; Alfons Tummers appointed as Director of Simon Dryers Ltd.
